There was some confusion about program planning -- the new scouts were told that they'd earned First Aid MB in addition to all the First Aid rank requirements, which was not accurate.

The staff planned an overnighter insisting on no tents and cooking on a large rock surface -- which didn't satisfy rank advancement requirements (e.g., "Sleep in a tent you have helped pitch") and with the (predictable) rain, created a bunch of wet, hungry, annoyed new tenderfeet, who they dragged back to camp.
