Most of us would agree with the saying 'You only get what you pay for' so do we expect low quality love if we are only prepared to pay nothing?

I suspect that the answer to that is a resounding 'No' so why do we keep doing it? Free can be be good if you are really lucky but do you want to gamble with love, especially as it may be your last chance for it?

Free dating sites have their place but I have never got on with them.

Added 04/12/2017: The free dating sites seem to be falling by the wayside and this seems to be for a number of reasons.

Most of them are finding that they cannot survive from the advertising around the sites which is not surprising as they nearly all we advertising paid for dating sites!

Dating sites vary widely in their charges and in what they offer in return.
